One plug and use, no setup required
Our travel data card does not require any settings. After purchase, you only need to insert the SIM card to use it. When roaming data usage is recorded, your travel data card will be activated automatically.

How to activate the Travel Data card
Normally you do not need to make any settings! After receiving the travel data card, you only need to insert the SIM card into your phone, and when the data traffic is recorded, your travel data card will be activated immediately. The validity date of the travel data card depends on the selected service plan (the day of activation of the SIM card is also counted).
If you cannot use travel data, you can also refer to the following methods to troubleshoot:
- Check whether the travel data card is correctly inserted into the SIM card slot of the phone.
- Whether the mobile phone supports dual SIM card function, if yes, please check that the travel data card is inserted into the SIM card slot of the phone,
- Check whether the SIM card slot where the travel data card is being inserted has data function turned on,
- Check whether the SIM card slot where the travel data card is being inserted has enabled the roaming data function,
- Have you arrived at the tourist destination? Please note that our travel data card only provides local data functions. If you are in Hong Kong, the travel data card will not provide Hong Kong data.

Terms & Conditions
1. Mobile data service is only applicable for selected location of the service plan, but not in other areas (including Hong Kong).
2. Only mobile data service is supported. The voice, SMS and other value-added services are not included.
3. This Card is for one-off use only and Recharge Service is not applicable.
4. When data usage reached up to the upper limit of the selected service plan, thereafter data access speed will be maintained at not less than 128kbps.
5. Actual data transmission speed may vary due to many factors, including but not limited to: network traffic conditions, handset models, handset settings (both hardware and software), upload/downloaded content and other external factors, etc.
6. Activate this SIM card before the expiry date as printed on the SIM card package.
7. CITIC Telecom reserves its absolute right to change the terms and conditions relating to the use of the SIM Card including but not limited to the airtime or SMS tariffs or rates at any time without prior notice to or consent from the customers.
